Ghana Premier League Match week 9 encounter between Inter Allies and Legon Cities ended in a 1-1 stalemate at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Victorien Adebayor scored first in the 15 minute from the spot before Jabila Abdul Karim also found the equalizer from the spot with 20 minutes left on the clock.
Henrik Peter Lehm didn’t change the team that beat Eleven Wonders 3-0 away in Techiman in midweek.
The visitors got the real first chance but fluffed their opportunity but Allies took over possession and dominated.
Desmond Abuga made a run in the box and was brought, Victorien Adebayor stepped up and slotted home his 8th goal of the season.
Adebayor went close twice but goalkeeper Fatau Dauda did so well to deny the forward on both occasions.
Dauda stood between Allies and a second goal until the break, Cities returned from recess more purposeful.
They were rewarded with a penalty and Jabila Abdul Karim converted from the spot in the 70th minute.
Allies rose back to the top pushing more for the winner but all efforts went futile.
