Amartey and Aidoo make Ghana’s final World Cup Squad
Ex-Allies players Daniel Amartey (Leicester City, England) and Joseph Aidoo (Celta Vigo, Spain) made the final cut for the Ghana Black Stars squad for this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The duo made the initial 55 man squad before making the final squad when the Coach Otto Addo named his squad on Monday morning at the DSTV Multi Choice office in Accra.
This happens to be the first World Cup for both star players who have grown well through their respective careers affter graduating from the club’s sytem.
It what looks like a tough opening group game for the Black Stars, they play against Portugal next week, then face South Korea on Monday, 28 November before going up against Uruguay on Friday, December 2.
