MATCH REPORT: Immigration FC 2:3 Cedar Stars

Cedar Stars Academy secured a hard-fought 3:2 victory over Immigration FC in a thrilling Matchday 10 encounter of the 2024/25 season of the Greater Accra Regional FA Division 2 league at the La McDan Astro Turf.

The Forever Green Boys dominated from the start, with Bright Awitor opening the scoring in the 11th minute after a brilliant solo run.

Fredrick Ekor doubled the lead with a stunning volley in the 22nd minute.
However, an own goal in the 36th minute gave the hosts hope as we headed to the halftime break.

Frederick Ekor struck again in the 57th minute with a clinical finish after a perfect assist from Raphael Anaba to make it 3:1 before the home side again, pulling one back in the 68th minute.

Despite mounting pressure by the home side in the dying embers of the match, the team held firm to claim all three points.
