Inter Allies head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin expressed his satisfaction with the draw but rues “lack of bite upfront” in his sides 0-0 stalemate against Hearts of Oak in the Greater Accra Regional Derby on Sunday.
The ‘Eleven Is To One’ were put to the sword throughout the game despite starting well at the Accra Sports Stadium but the Phobians failed to take their chances.
“I think everyone enjoyed the game, it was a good and fair game. We went to the Accra Sports Stadium to get a good result and we did that, so I am satisfied with the results, perhaps the performance too,” Paa Kwesi Fabin said.
“Coming away and getting a point the coach will definitely say the strategy worked but at some point I think we were really lucky.”
“The plan is to at least get a point in all away matches and that has worked so far, (1-1 with WAFA and 0-0 against Hearts) but were dropping points at home and that’s not good enough.”
“I think we didn’t have bite upfront and anytime we took the ball to their third half, it’s cleared back to our half and it didn’t help us at all.”
“Honestly we’ve started the second round struggling, because we’ve drawn all the four games played in this round and it’s not good enough.”
Inter Allies next league game will be against Wa All Stars at the Tema Sports Stadium this weekend.
