Emmanuel Nettey has been named Inter Allies’ Player of the Month for August and September, voted by the Technical Team of the club.
The industrious midfielder featured in all six matches played in both months and displayed some decent form, playing important role for team.
Nettey held off the challenge from Simon Martey and Frederick Opoku Yamoah who have both won this accolade before, to achieve this feat.
“Nettey has progressed rapidly and game after game you see he’s developing, he has done very well,” Technical Director Willie Klutse said.
“He has been in some fine form recently and deserves this accolade. He is a midfielder but he has done some excellent work in center back in our last three games.”
Nettey who joins the list of few players to named in the monthly accolade, expressed his delight in achieving this feat and hopes to come better next season.
“I’m very happy to be named the Player of the month for the said months, it’s a great feeling and am very honored,” Nettey said.
“Collectively, Inter Allies have been very helpful and a good learning place so I thank the coaches for the superb tuition and my colleagues for the wonderful team work.”
“I wish could do more to help my team and hopefully next season will be the right time to do that.”
