Former Inter Allies midfielder Gershon Koffie has joined New England Revolution from Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the MLS.
Koffie, 24, spent five seasons with Vancouver Whitecaps FC, having been with them since its inaugural MLS season in 2011 and holds the club’s career record for most regular season appearances with 133.
He played four seasons with Inter Allies, when we competed in Ghana’s third-tier Division Two League from 2006-09.
Koffie represented Ghana internationally at the U-20 level, earning two caps in 2011
The midfielder recorded 28 appearances including 22 starts during the 2015 MLS regular season, also starting both legs of Whitecaps’ Western Conference Semifinal tie with the Portland Timbers.
He leaves Whitecaps with the following records:

*Awarded 2015 Whitecaps FC Goal of the Year
*Only player to make at least 20 appearances in each of Vancouver’s five MLS seasons.
