Inter Allies have been eliminated from the 2015/16 MTN FA Cup after succumbing to a 2-1 defeat against Emmanuel FC at the Kweiman School Park on Sunday.
Frederick Boateng’s late penalty goal in the 82nd minute was not enough as the ‘Eleven Is To One’ were sent out of the competition.
The round of 32 fixture saw Inter Allies against a very spirited lower tier side, they got their double lead in the 13th and 23th minutes.
Inter Allies staged a massive come back after going down twice but all attempts went futile until Frederick Boateng scored from the spot in the 82nd minute.
The goal brought the boys back into the game but it was too little too late for the ‘Eleven Is To One’ as the game ended 2-1 in favour of the home team.
