On a good note Inter Allies started the second round of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League with a 1-0 win over Sekondi Hasaacas at the Tema Sports Stadium.
The game which was played behind closed doors on a quiet Sunday afternoon saw Frederick Boateng clinched the only goal early in the game.
Coach Jimmy Cobblah named a very tricky team for the clash, Osei Kwame was kept between the sticks, Simon Martey and Ibrahim Alhassan were on the right and left side of defence respectively.
Wahab Ackwei and Emmanuel Nettey paired in defence, Gockel Ahortor was a place above them with Edward Adjaklo and George Asamoah on the left and right side of attack respectively.
Youngster Abdul Halik Hudu played behind Sheriff Deo Mohammed and Frederick Boateng in a 4-4-2 attacking formation.
It was the ‘Eleven Is To One’ who started very well, Frederick Boateng sneaked through the opponent’s defence and was brought down for a penalty.
The in-form striker elected himself but missed the penalty by shooting wide in the second minute.
Two minutes later, he made amends for his blip with a fine goal. The striker who now has 6 goals lobbed the ball over Michael Abu for a very decent goal.
Boateng could have doubled his account, missing from an acute angle after Sheriff Deo Mohammed had put him through with a head flick.
Enoch Adu who joined the team from Right to Dream Academy in the second window had to wait till the 55th minute to make his debut, he came in for Simon Martey.
The visitors had a very good period of possession in the latter part of the game but failed to capitalize on that to make it count, it ended 1-0 for Inter Allies.
This win means the ‘Eleven Is To One’ has climbed from 13th to 11th on the league table with 18 points.
