Inter Allies suffered their 10th defeat of the season, losing 2-0 away to Bechem United on Saturday in the 2015/16 week 24 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.

Two early second half penalty goals by Abednego Tetteh sank the ‘Eleven Is To One’ further on the league table, from 14th to 15th with six more matches to go.

Coach Jimmy Corbblah made four changes to his side that drew 1-1 with Medeama SC in the previous match at the Tema Sports Stadium.

Kwame Baah replaced injured Kwame Osei in between the sticks, Ibrahim Alhassan replaced Simon Martey at the right of defence.

Uriah Kporvi returned to the starting XI in place of Emmanuel Nettey in defence with Isaac Twum replacing Isaac Osae behind the striker.

It proved to be a fruitful first half for Inter Allies despite Bechem United enjoying their fair share of the game in the first period.

The ‘Eleven Is To One’ remained compact and resolute against a very attacking minded side throughout the half, it settled 0-0 despite Allies warming into the game in the latter part of the half.

However, it was a different ball game all together in the second half. The home side had two quick penalties in the 49th and 55th minutes which were neatly converted by Abednego Tetteh.

Allies applied a lot of a pressure but the home side were creating all the chances and looked like getting a third but the scoreline remained the same until the final whistle.
