Inter Allies FC young midfielder Abdul-Halik Hudu won the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League Most Promising Player Of The Year award.
The award is designed to recognize the most impressive young player during each season and reward them for their outstanding contribution to the competition.
Hudu on Friday night claimed the prestigious title night at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.
The budding talent had to fend off stiff competition from a strong shortlist of nominees which included Enoch Atta Agyei formerly of Medeama SC and Tawfik Mohammed of New Edubiase.
He was presented the award with the full support of club secretary Kwammy Parbi and team manager Reuben Adjetey.
“I’m really delighted to receive this honourable award and it is a great pleasure to have this accolade.”
“For me I think it’s not an individual award but for the whole team. My seniors in the first team made my transition from youth team very smoothly.”
“I dedicate this to my colleagues and entire team, we did it.”
