Defender Wahab Ackwei wants to add goals to his game after his solitary goal helped Inter Allies to a 1-0 win over Tema Youth on Monday.
Ackwei is a tough tackling, ball playing centre-half and feels having an eye for goal will add a lot to his game and help his team during difficult times.
Getting one premier league goal under his belt now, the defender wants to establish himself as a scoring defender: “Definitely adding goals to my game will make me a better player,” he said.
“Last season I rattled the crossbar severally and had chances to score but fluffed all, I think there’s more to come after this one.”
“In cases where we’re having tough games I want to be scoring for the team and be an option on the score sheet.”
Wahab Ackwei has been an integral member of the team featuring in 7 games already this season out of the 8 games played so far, completing all.
