After keeping a clean sheet in the season’s opening day rout of Bechem United, Kwame Baah has disclosed that his primary focus for the season is to maintain as many clean sheets as possible to help propel the team to a successful campaign.

The former national U-20 goalkeeper who joined the Capelli boys two seasons ago, recorded his first clean sheet of the season in the opening day emphatic 3-0 win over the Hunters at the Tema Sports Stadium.

Inter Allies are leading the Ghana Premier league after Saturday’s win and Baah indicated that the league is yet to take shape and their position at the top is dependent on goalkeepers not conceding as many goals as possible, though it is collective responsibility of the team.

He said the relegation threatening experience from last season must be a guiding principle for him and his team mates: “I am focused on keeping as many clean sheets as possible after we started the league on a good note.” he told www.interalliesfc.com

“Last season was a difficult campaign so we must all learn from that experience and do our job to keep the team in a good position in the league. I will also put in my best for the team not to concede goals.”

Kwame Baah also stated his primary target for now is to hit double digits after a respectable 9 clean sheets from 18 league games last season.

“Last season I kept 9 clean sheets from 18 games but I want to improve to increase my numbers. if I am able to do that I”m sure I can help the team to do well in the league”
