Joseph Aidoo scores in Genk’s Europa League win
Defender Joseph Aidoo was on target for KRC Genk in their convincing 4-0 win over Sarpsborg 08 in the Europa League.
Aidoo started the game at the Luminus Arena and lasted the full duration of the game helping his side to qualify for the round of 32.
Z. Gano on the second minute and Joseph Paintsil ok the fifth minute got the opening two goals for Genk in the first half.
S. Berge made it 3-0 on the 64th minute before the Joseph Aidoo put the icing on the cake on the 67th minute to register his first Europa League goal.
KRC Genk topped Group I with 11 points and likely to face BATE, Celtic, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Krasnodar, Lazio, Olympiacos, Rapid Wien, Rennes, Slavia Praha, Sporting CP, Shakhtar, Plzeň, Zürich in the next round.
