After going some couple of games without a win, the Eleven Is To One lads bounced back to winning ways with an emphatic 4-2 win over WAFA SC.

The match marked GFA/NC Special Competition week 13 encounter at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

A brace from Samuel Armah, a bullet from Michel Otou and a debut goal from Fuseini Mohammed helped Allies beat the Academy Boys.

Umit Turmus handed starting roles to Bernard Quarcoo at right back, Ishmael Otutey in center back and Abraham Okyere upfront as changes from the previous game.

Despite starting on a good note, the visitors got the opening goal after 18 minutes, Amate Justice Aaron slotted a nice one past Saed Salifu.

Six minutes later, Michel Otou wrapped a beautiful move with a bullet shot to level matters and to make amends for an early error.

Not long after leveling, Samuel Armah scored a very beautiful goal to send us in front four minute later. From a bicycle kick he connected Michel Otou’s teasing cross from the right.

The Capelli Boys went into recess with a slender 2-1 lead. 

It got more bigger in the early stages of the second half, Fuseini Mohammed scored his first goal for Inter Allies, steering in Samuel Armah’s short pass just five minutes after recess.

However, WAFA threw a scare in the 74th minute and started dominating possession after Ibrahim Abukari had reduced the deficit to 3-2, scoring from the penalty spot.

Allies needed a cushion late in the game, and around the 83rd minute mark, Samuel Armah got his brace and put real smiles on our faces after he was put through by Michel Otou.

4-2, it ended and the Capelli Boys won the final home match of the GFA NC Special Competition in some style.
