Cedars Stars knocked out of BJ U16 on penalties:

Cedar Stars Academy campaign in the Baby Jet Under 16 ended after suffering a nerve wracking defeat to Bisty Academy in the round of 16.

The young Capelli Boys who had a dominant performance in the group stages conceded their first goal of the tournament in the first half after a howler by the goalkeeper.

The youngsters rallied back and got their equalizer in the second half after fans favorite Samuel Boakye showed his wizardry by taking on the opponents defense.

Cedar Stars continued to press for the winner but time was not the best ally as proceedings came to an end.

Bisty Academy scored all of their three penalty kicks while Cedar Stars scored one out of two handing their opponents qualification to the quarterfinals.

Samuel Boakye was adjudged man of the match.
