Head of Technical of the first team Henrik Lehm Peters has acknowledged the work of his defensive unit which has improved results.
The Danish trainer joined the club’s technical team after the the week six fixture against West African Football Academy and the team has since recorded three wins and a draw in as many matches.
The Eleven Is To One boys have been on an impressive goalscoring form recording 11 goal and conceding four in the last four games.
Two of the victories came on the road against Techiman Eleven Wonders and Berekum Chelsea where team scored 6 goals and conceded one.
Whiles commending the team’s attacking strength, the trainer stated it was equally important to keep the back tidy and that has been worked on since he commenced work with the club.
“I have been here for two and a half weeks and there were a lot of good players. When I joined, I realized they were missing a plan on how to defend.”
“In training we have been focused on goals but I also teach them to understand how to defend as a team”.
Lehm Henrik Peters is expectant the team will continue to deliver and is looking forward to recording more wins in subsequent matches in other to climb higher on the league log.
“I am hopeful the players will continue to deliver results. My expectation is to win as many matches as possible. When I look up, it’s a very close league and we are not far up and for me the most important thing is we are good on the standings.”
Inter Allies will return to the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday against Medeama SC at 3:00pm.
