Former Inter Allies midfielder Clifford Aboagye has been named the 2013 Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Discovery Player of the year.
The bronze shoe award winner at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup final was awarded for his contributions to the Black Satellites that saw them win bronze.
The 19-year-old now plays for Granada in Spain and co-owned by Italian Serie A side Udinese.
He joined the senior team of Inter Allies from the club’s youth side (Accra Youth) in 2010.
The dynamic midfielder was an integral member of the squad that promoted Inter Allies to Ghana top flight for the first time in 2013, the same year he left.
