Match Summary – King Faisal 1-0 Inter Allies:
We were defeated once again on road, losing 1-0 to King Faisal at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman to clear week 4 league match.
Samuel Kusi left it late for the home side in the 86th minute to bag the first maximum points of the season for King Faisal.
Henrik Lehm made one change to the side that beat Hearts of Oak 1-0 last week with Collins Kudjoe replacing injured Richmond Lamptey.
The home side had our former defender Pius Baffour Awuah at their heart of defence and quickly unsettled our young attackers.
Faisal had dominated the early stages but had few goal scoring opportunities, however we were very solid at the back with Isah and Hashmin leading the line.
Collins Kudjoe after going past two defenders in the box fluffed his chance with a side-netting shot from close range after a quarter of an hour played.
That was the closest we got to the back of the net, ten minutes later he was also pushed down in the box with penalty claims but the referee would have none of that.
After recess, Faisal showed they wanted it more, they kept asking questions from different angles but our goalkeeper Rashid Seidu stood between them and goal.
After several approach and knocking, King Faisal broke the deadlock, Samuel Kusi was fast in the box to break our hearts in a goalmouth melee.
They held on firm until the final whistle, Pius Baffour Awuah was named the NASCO Man of the match.
