Match Summary – Inter Allies 0-1 Legon Cities – Accra:

We succumbed to city rivals Legon Cities on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium – 2020/21 Ghana Premier League match week 11 clash.

Mathew Cudjoe Anim’s early goal did the magic for the ‘visitors’ as they held firm to claim all the three maximum points.

A lot of senior faces returned to the starting lineup after missing the trip to Tarkwa for the Medeama SC match in the last game.

In what looked like a good start was marred by Cities goal, Mathew Cudjoe Anim was quick to react in the box and converted a cross from the left side.

Prior to going down, Nafiu Sulemana got two early chances but fluffed both opportunities. 

First in the 2nd minute, he got through the defense but shot was soft for the goalkeeper.

Just two minutes, he got another opportunity inside the box and his effort was way over the bar.

Even though we pushed for the equalizer, the back of the net eluded us.

In the second half, we continued with the same mentality, we attacked from all angles but we failed to penetrate their back four.

We kept pushing and pushing and created some decent chances but we failed to find the back of the net.

Mathew Cudjoe Anim was named the NASCO man of the match.
