Abdul Nassiru Hamzah features in Ghana U23 preparatory match

Inter Allies forward Abdul Nassiru Hamzah played a part in Black Meteors’ friendly game with Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak.

The Ghana U23 side defeated the Phobians by a lone goal at the Accra Sports Stadium on a quiet Thursday morning.

The speedster played 85 minutes and enjoyed operating from the flanks, from right to left, he was replaced by Evans Osei.

Akese Akese scored the only goal of the game as Meteors stepped up preparations for the Africa U23 Qualifier final round tie with Algeria.

Ghana will be home at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 5 for the first leg before completing the tie with the second leg few days later.
