Accra Youth SC commenced the second round of the Greater Accra Regional Second Division Zone III League with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Desert Warriors FC at the Kawkudi Park on Wednesday afternoon.

After being wasteful all day by missing lots of chances, the young ‘Eleven Is To One’ produced one of the finest away displays that saw striker Dan Amanfo on the score sheet yet again.

The home side opened the scoring from a very long range in the first half. However the goal didn’t have a toil on the team but a spirited performance. After a very fantastic display, Dan Amanfo slotted home the equalizer before the close of the first half.

The second half saw much more exciting moments but both sides failed to add to their tally after a lot of chances went begging from both angles, the match ended 1-1.

Accra Youth now lie joint-second on the league table after 14 matches played and will host Dawtex FC at the La Town Park on Saturday.
