Adebayor, Henrik Lehm Nominated for GPL Monthly Awards

Forward Victorien Adje Adebayor and Coach Henrik Lehm are in line to win Nasco player and coach of the months for February, the Ghana Football Association announced on Thursday afternoon.

Adebayor has been the star man in the league by far and led the team on a good vein of form in February. He put up some of his best performance away from home, helping Allies record two impressive wins. Within the period, he scored 7 goals, two assists and three MVPs in 5 matches.

Henrik Lehm strategized an impressive 10 points haul in the month with the two wins in Techiman and Berekum being the highlight of his defensive masterclass which has seen our attack scoring and the defense preventing goals.

Adebayor’s nomination is his second of the season and is a clear favorite for the award. Coach Henrik Lehm’s impressive record also puts him in good stead to win the award.

Winner will receive a NASCO Television set, a men’s grooming set and a personalized trophy.
