Ex-captain Joseph Aidoo made his senior debut for Hammarby in the Swedish top-flight on Sunday.

The Ghana U20 star defender played the entire duration of the game where he was adjudged the man-of-the-match.

His side lost by a lone goal to champions Malmo FF at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm with a sold-out attendance of 30,627.

With an excellent start on his debut, Aidoo got standing ovations by the home fans and got a lot of good reactions from the spectators.

He exhibited stability at the back, strong in the air, clever and timely interventions with accurate ball  distribution – king on the ball.

Aidoo has made several appearances for the club’s junior side where he has a goal to his credit.
