Baba Mensah says the desire to finish the season well has boosted the confidence and morale in the camp of Inter Allies ahead of the MTN FA Cup against Kotoko on Sunday.
The center back says there is no pressure in camp as they have nothing to prove, after all nobody gave them the chance to be here after the struggles at the start of the season.
“We have been listening to the media and with what some said it looked like we had no chance to survive or even do well this season because we had a bad start, so there is no pressure on us against Kotoko,” the former Ghana U20 told www.interalliesfc.com
“We are very cool and relaxed for the game, we are praying we get a good day on Sunday.”
Mensah also believes there is a lot of pressure on Kotoko to win the MTN FA Cup after winning the league.
Kotoko, who are in the third final in four years, even though failed to win those two will seek to make it right the third time and Baba says that’s going to put a lot pressure on the Porcupines.
“They are the league champions and have lost two finals in three years, so they will like to make it right this time, you see why I said there is pressure on them?”
“We are confident that Sunday will be our day and Insha Allah, we will beat Kotoko to win the FA Cup on Sunday.”
