Inter Allies striker Frederick Boateng promises to dazzle for the club at the right time despite not scoring in the first three league games.
The 21-year-old goal machine scored 9 league goals for relegated Ebusua Dwarfs last season but has failed to find the back of the net so far this season despite starting all three games for the Eleven Is To One.
Boateng came close to opening his account this season after his 17th minute header hit the cross bar at the Tema Sports Stadium against Liberty Professionals but the prolific striker believes his goal drought will end soon.
“I’m working so hard to start getting the goals as I wish to better my form from last season and I promise not to disappoint my employers and the club’s fans,” he told www.interalliesfc.com
“My target is to get closer to the goal king or if possible clinch it by the end of the season. I know for sure that I will bounce back as a striker sometimes scores a hat trick to redeem himself so, it’s not late for me to start banging in the goals.
“I pray the coaches, management of the club and the fans will be cool with me and hopefully they will see the goals coming in no time.”
Boateng is part of the Eleven Is To One contingent to face Kotoko on Friday and will hope to open his account against the champions.
