Striker Frederick Boateng picks positives out of the previous game against Libertey Professionals and looks forward to a better performance against Dreams FC in the next game.
The “Eleven Is To One” were defeated 2-1 by Liberty on Sunday in Dansoman, the striker came off the bench and in the 58th minute when Inter Allies were 2-0 down, scored the consolation.
Despite losing 2-1, Boateng felt the “Eleven Is To One” could have at least grabbed a point after getting the consolation and insisted the defeat was harsh.
Inter Allies mounted series of pressure to get the leveler after Boateng’s goal but all opportunities for a further goal went futile.
“We still had belief that we could come back, at least to get a draw. I think it showed in our play especially in the second half. Everybody stepped it up much more after the first half,” he told www.interalliesfc.com
“I think we deserved not to lose this game but sometimes it happens, we know we have to keep our heads up and keep working and we will. We know what we are capable of and we will stay positive.”
“Surely, we will come good in our next game.”
Inter Allies will welcome Dreams FC to the Tema
Sports Stadium for week three clash in the next game.
