Cedar Stars Academy defeat New Life Academy.

Cedar Stars U-16 side secured the maximum points when they defeated New Life Academy 1-0 in the-ongoing Baby Jet Promotions U-16 tournament at the Asamoah Gyan Soccer Complex.

The young Capelli Boys put up a much improved performance in their second game of the tournament after sharing the spoils with Cheetah Stars in their opening game.

Evans Hene’s goal at the start of the second half was enough to secure all three points for the academy boys.

Cedar Stars maintained their momentum after the opener but failed to convert the chances that came their way.

The team will play their final game against their counterparts from Attram de Visser Academy hoping to finish top of their group.
