Former Inter Allies player Daniel Amartey has been included in Ghana’s provisional 31-man squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 20-year-old, who plays for Danish champions FC Copenhagen, is one of ten defenders invited by new coach Avram Grant.

He had an impressive first half of the season after featuring in 15 league matches in the Danish Superliga.

Amartey also played in the Europa League and scored two goals.

He is bound to make the final squad for the tournament which will be played from 17 January to 08 February.
