Inter Allies is delighted to announce that goalkeeper Kwame Osei has been appointed the club’s captain for the remainder of the season.
Osei was third captain to Joseph Aidoo, who has departed to Hammarby on loan in Sweden, and Baba Mensah who is also currently with the Black Meteors for the All Africa Games in Congo.
The industrious custodian will wear the club’s captain armband for the last two league games against Bechem United on Sunday, September 6 and against Medeama on September 13.
Osei has made 25 league appearances this season with 12 clean sheets and was named the club’s Player of the month for June.
Also, Simon Martey has been named the new vice-captain for the remainder of the season.
Martey has been versatile and has been fantastic this season playing in several positions as he helps to balance loopholes.
He won the club’s Player of the month for July, Martey has made over 16 league appearances for the ‘Eleven Is To One’ this season.
