Inter Allies head coach Herbert Addo believes the 0-0 draw with New Edubiase at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi on Sunday was a justified result.
The ‘Eleven Is To One’ demonstrated excellent resilience and made useless on numerous attempts on goal by the desperate home side.
Speaking to reporters after the match, the gaffer maintains that a stalemate was a fair reflection on proceedings.
“It was a hard fought game. I think the draw is a fair result because both teams got chances, both teams missed chances, so when it happens that way then it means both teams are on a draw matter,” he said.
“We played a draw, we got one point but the three would have been better. So I’ll take the result as a point gained and we will work harder for the next game.
“We were prepared to fight, especially thirty minutes to the end, we were prepared to fight and maintain the status at it was.”
The result leaves Inter Allies 10th on the league log with 5 points after 4 games and will welcome giants Hearts of Oak to the Tema Sports Stadium in the next game.
