Inter Allies duo Abdul Halik Hudu and Umar Faruk Tahiru were in superb form as the Ghana U17 team won a four nation tournament in Namibia over the weekend.
Black Starlets won all their four games by thrashing the hosts Namibia U17 by 8-0 in the first match before defeating Germany U17 2-1 in the second game.
They then beat Namibia U20 3-1 before wrapping the tournament with a 2-1 repeat victory over Germany U17 to be crowned champions of the tournament.
Abdul Halik Hudu who is the captain of the team played three games from the four games and scored in the 8-0 win over Namibia U17 in the first game.
Umar Faruk Tahiru featured in all the four games for the Black Starlets where he made an impressive performance from the right back.
The duo together with the team are expected to touch down in Ghana by the close Wednesday.
Umar faruk is a brother to me and a team mate at the couse league,he was our captain with a name football doctor and i know what he is capable of doing and am praying that he will get fixed callup at the national team level. May Allah be with u wherever u go.
