Inter Allies defeated newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC at the Tema Sports Stadium on Friday.
Both teams presented two teams for two different games which saw the ‘Eleven Is To One’ claim victory in both matches.
The first match recorded a 2-1 victory in favour of Herbert Addo’s boys after the gaffer used the exercise to test one of his tactics.
Lord Ofosuhene in a beautiful one-two with Gockel Ahortor got past his marker on the right side and was brought down in the box, making it a simple decision for the referee.
Isaac Twum made no mistake and converted comfortably from the spot to open the scoring after 18 minutes of a fairly balanced game.
Dreams FC got their equalizer which later turned to be their consolation via substitute Lawson Bekui in the second half.
With the game heading for a draw, Eliasu Fuseini brought back smiles with a fine header from a fantastic Prince Barrie left cross to seal victory in the first game.
The second game also registered the same score line as the first game. Both teams virtually gave opportunities to the players who didn’t feature in the first game.
Ex-Inter Allies players Gershon Koffie, Joseph Aidoo and Kwame Karikari who were on holidays from the respective clubs abroad also featured in this game.
David Tetteh, a trialist broke the deadlock in the 7th minute after a cracking solo effort.
Kwame Karikari doubled the lead with a wonderful strike from outside of the box.
Lawson Bekui who scored in the first game pulled the consolation for the visitors once again before the end of the final whistle.
