Inter Allies duo Baba Mensah and Bright Adjei scored as Ghana’s Olympic team beat their counterparts from Egypt 3-2 in an international friendly match in Cairo.

The game on Saturday evening ended back-to-back international friendlies for the Black Meteors.

The Young Pharaohs beat Meteors 3-0 on Wednesday in the first game but goals from Inter Allies duo Baba Mensah and Bright Adjei, Abdul Basit ensured Ghana beat Egypt 3-2.

Mahmoud Trezeguet opened the scoring for the Egyptians from the spot but Inter Allies vice defender Baba Mensah restored parity via a header from a corner kick.

Basit made it 2-1 for the Meteors before Inter Allies forward Bright Adjei doubled the lead to make it 3-1.

Egypt then pulled one back via Ahmed Rafaat’s stunning free kick.
