Defender Ibrahim Alhassan insists IAFC players were not happy with their performance but has praised his team’s spirit in the 0-0 draw at New Edubiase on Sunday.
Alhassan played the full throttle of the week four clash in Obuasi as the ‘Eleven Is To One’ played most of the game defending.
“We were not happy to take a point – that is pretty clear because that’s not how we play, we play more than this.”
After a disappointing 2-2 result at home against Dreams FC, the versatile player says they knew they had to show the hunger and desire that wasn’t in the previous game.
He insists they weren’t good enough and from the players’ point of view they showed a reaction and were unlucky not to win the match and hopes to make amends in the next match.
“We went to Obuasi to win, not draw or lose, we drew at home to Dreams FC in our previous game which is a loss for us so we went for a win.”
“However, we got a draw, we thank God for that and we’re going to prepare well for our next game.”
Inter Allies will welcome giants Hearts of Oak to the Tema Sports Stadium in the next game.
Ibrahim Alahassan is indeed a great player and will always support to even the 12th hour because he doesn’t disappoint neither will he put you to shame. Keep it up bro. We’ve got your back. #UP
