Match Report : Inter Allies Thrashes Galaxy FC 7:0

In a breathtakingly display of skill and dominance, We secured a resounding 7-0 victory over Galaxy FC in our league week 11 encounter of the 2023/2024 Volta Regional FA Division 2 League at the Battor R/C Park.

Right from the kick-off, the Eleven is to one lads asserted their dominance on the pitch, with Maxwell Azafokpe opening the scoring in the 12th minute via a stunning free-kick. This early goal set the tone for our commanding performance.

Gideon Adjei, the man of the match, showcased his prowess by doubling our lead just before halftime with a remarkable flying header in the 45+2 minute, leaving Galaxy FC struggling to keep up with the pace.

The halftime break did little to our momentum, as we returned to the field with renewed vigour. Adjei continued his scoring spree, finding the back of the net again in the 49th minute with a spectacular finish, further solidifying our lead.

Adjei completed his hat-trick in the 62nd minute with a stunning header, showcasing both his aerial prowess and precision and leaving the crowd in awe.

But Adjei wasn’t finished yet. In the 70th minute, he delivered yet another masterful goal, chipping the ball over the goalkeeper to complete his brilliant performance with four goals and the man of the match to his name.

Samuel Boakye, another standout performer, also left his mark on the match, contributing two goals of his own in the 58th and 72nd minutes, respectively, further cementing our dominance on the scoreboard.

This outstanding performance not only highlighted our attacking prowess but also underscored the tactical brilliance of our coach, Alfred Eli Domie, who’s tactical acumen and ability were evident throughout the match as the team executed his game plan to perfection.
