Kwabena Kyeremateng: Tough season ahead – expects a better campaign:
Inter Allies kick off the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League Season with a difficult trip to Dormaa with the Capelli Boys having lost only one of their opening fixtures in the Premier League.
New signing Kwabena Kyeremanteng is delighted with the return of football and expects a tough season.
‘’All these while we have been training and tuning our minds and toughening our minds for the league to start and now its here so we are ready for it,” Kyeremanteng told the Club‘s media team, Allies Media.
“It’s going to be tough but we are ready for the league and I am expecting tougher oppositions because we have been preparing for quite a while and other teams have also been preparing so its going to be tough.”
Kyeremateng joined Inter Allies from second tier side Asokwa Deportivo. He came up through the ranks at Deportivo and had the opportunity to play with the Division One side, notably in the NC Special Competition.
The Centre Forward is unfazed by the challenge ahead as he believes the Premier League is not too different from the Division one League and expects to score a lot of goals.
“Even if there’s a difference (Premier League and Division One), its not that much because its the same football, it is up to me to toughen my mind and do what I am suppose to do on the pitch,” he added.
“As a striker I am to provide goals for my team so definitely I am aiming to score more goals and be amongst the top strikers in the league.”
