Inter Allies recorded yet another defeat at the hands of giants Asante Kotoko 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday to clear week 13 fixture.
10 men Inter Allies were fantastic in the second half but yielded no results after Amos Frimpong scored from the spot kick.
Coach Jimmy Corbblah made four changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Ashanti Gold in midweek, Simon Martey returned.
George Asamoah got his first start at left side of attack, Frederick Boateng played as a right winger in a 4-3-3 formation.
It was slightly dominance as the hosts commenced the the first half very brightly and purposeful, trying to unsettle Inter Allies.
The ‘Eleven Is To One’ fought back and warmed into the game very nicely but it was too soon for the mandatory half time break.
Kotoko were all over in the early embers of the second half. They attacked from all angles but had to face a rooted Inter Allies defence.
Sulley Mohammed who was coming off for Ropapa Mensah in the 57th minute got a second yellow on the touchline and was sent off.
Kotoko went on to get a penalty two minutes after which was neatly converted by Amos Frimpong in the 60th minute.
The scoreline stood like that after Inter Allies tried their possible best to get back into the game, it ended 1-0 in favour of Kotoko.
