The Eleven Is To One were held to a 0-0 draw by Liberty Professionals in the third match of the First Capital Plus Premier League at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Although Inter Allies were the better side and enjoyed greater possession and chances, Liberty goalkeeper Kwaku Stephen kept them at bay with some fine saves.
Fredrick Boateng failed to break the deadlock in favour of the hosts though the sharp striker sparkled in bits and pieces after he rattled the cross bar in the 17th minute from a Prosper Kassim cross.
The match started off cautiously, with either team trying to get a measure of their opponent.
As time progressed, the match stretched getting into a good rhythm with Inter Allies forwards Prosper Kassim and Lord Ofosuhene combining better to test the defense of Liberty.
Despite dominating, the Eleven Is To One failed to find the back of the net before before the break. Gockel Ahortor came on for injured Niare Benogo at halftime.
Goalkeeper Mustapha Odam who barely tested in the first half was called to duty right after the recess, he came off his line to deny Kennedy Ashia and Tamimu Muntari twice in a period of ten minutes.
As time wore on, the game started getting stretched as both teams started showing fatigue, coach Paa Kwesi Fabin brought on George Asamoah for Prosper Kassim and Sam Ayew Yeboah for Frederick Boateng.
The match petered away towards the end as Sam Ayew Yeboah was picked by Asamoah George, the former nearly secured a victory for the hosts as his 89th minute bicycle kick went narrowly wide, our second home game ended goalless.
