Match Summary – Great Olympics 1-0 Inter Allies

We lost narrowly to Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday evening in our Premier League week 26 encounter.

Abdul Manaf Mudasiru’s 77th-minute goal did the damage against us despite playing so well on the night.

The technical team did not make any change in the starting XI from the last game against Berekum Chelsea.

Striker Taufiq Shaibu replaced Gockel Ahortor in the substitutes.

We started well with series of attacks – Nafiu Sulemana and Alex Aso both went close to the opener but the goalkeeper kept the chances away.

Things went a little scrappy from our boys but Andy Okpe nearly scored with a header just three minutes before the break – his header was saved by the goalkeeper.

Few minutes after recess, Nafiu Sulemana was put through on goal but his shot was well saved by the goalkeeper – denying us a perfect chance of going ahead.

With twelve minutes to full time, Abdul Manaf Mudasiru scored from close range to win it for the hosts.
