Maxwell Ansah had to wait close to two seasons for his Inter Allies debut but the defender was pleased to finally make his bow in the 3-2 loss to Dreams FC.
The defender put in an all action display at the heart of defense and it certainly proved to be a day to remember for the young center back.
He played the full 90 minutes with a very solid performance and was delighted after the game: “Finally, my first game for the Club, I can say I’m more than honored,” he told www.interalliesfc.com
“We had a very tough game for large spells and moved the ball really well. We rode a bit of a storm as well which is good to see – overall it was a really good performance.”
Ansah, who is capable of playing centre half or defensive midfield is hoping that he can help the heed push up the table over the course of the season.
Inter Allies will return to the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday to lock horns with Berekum Chelsea.
