There’s been no injury problem in camp after the first week of pre-season insists Michael Mensah, the medical officer of Inter Allies FC.
“As at now we don’t have injury cases on my desk and as the pre-season is still on-going we might have few cases to treat,” Mike Mensah told www.interalliesfc.com
‘Eleven Is To One’ last Saturday completed it’s first week of the pre-season after an intense week-long physical training at the Lizzy Sports Complex, ending at the beach with more training.
But passing through excessive physical training in the previous week the players have responded very well.
“The players have shown great attitude, they have trained very well with little worries. Even though some of the players didn’t return from the recess fit, majority of them were very fit, they’re strong, because during the recess I saw some of them training and keeping shape.”
The upcoming season could see the club record minor injury cases as management has promised the medical team with a more improved aid box.
Mensah added: “Management has promised to improve our aid box this season, so hopefully we can have little injury problems this season.”
Inter Allies FC will continue the pre-season yet for another week as the team prepare a week long gym practice at the Accra Sports Stadium.
