Inter Allies Football Club have reached an agreement with ex-Ghana international Yaw Achampong to become head coach.
The 41-year-old put pen paper on Tuesday at the club’s secretariat in Accra and will be unveiled in the first week of August.
He holds a CAF License A and International DFB Coaching Certificates (Advanced Level).
Acheampong was appointed after convincing management about his credentials and development for youth football.
“We want to assure the fans that this is the best decision we have taken for them. Yaw Achampong is the right man to lead us for next season,” Chief Executive/Brands Manager Eric Delali Senaye told www.interalliesfc.com.
“We promise to back and support him achieve his targets as coach and send the club far.”
Acheampong’s last coaching job was in-charge of Dunkwa United in Division One League Zone II promotional play-offs.
He has Premier League experience after coaching Tema Youth and AshantiGold in addition to an assistant coaching position at Asante Kotoko.
Acheampong’s quest to become a good trainer saw him handle second-tier side Unity FC.
