Inter Allies duo of Isaac Osae and Fredrick Opoku who are on loan at Penn FC helped their team to a 3-2 win over Bethlehem Steel in the USL on Friday.

Both players were on the scoresheet, with Opoku being the happiest for scoring his first of the season at home at the FNB Field.

The visitors drew first blood in the 17 minute to silence the home fans, Penn FC responded immediately in front of its raucous home crowd of 3,103.

Forward Issac Osae placed a shot on target in the 20th minute that was barely deflected by Bethlehem’s goalkeeper Jake McGuire.

The goalkeeper failed to corral the ball, and Freddie Opoku buried the rebound from the far side into the roof of the net to equalize.

Penn FC scored again before the end of the first half an continued their fine first half form, keeping the pressure deep in Bethlehem’s half. 

Mkosana played a first time ball into the path of Isaac Osae who took a touch into the box and powered his finish into the top corner at the near post to score Penn FC’s third goal.

The visitors scored late in the game to reduce the deficit to 3-2. 

Prince Baffoe was an unused substitute and Haruna Shaibu failed to make the squad.

Penn FC returns to FNB Field to continue its momentum on Monday, July 9th when it hosts the Richmond Kickers.
