Cedar Stars Academy youngster, Samuel kusi has been included in coach Laryea Kingston’s Black Starlets squad for the WAFU Zone B U17 Cup of Nation, Accra 2024.

The 16 years old Midfielder is a key member of the Cedar stars squad who play in the Greater Accra Regional FA division two league.

Samuel is a skillful offensive midfield player who has the ability and skill to progress the ball, dictate play and create numerous scoring opportunities for his forward players.

The WAFU Zone B U-17 Cup of Nations is scheduled to take place at the University of Ghana stadium from May 15-28, 2024.

Samuel Kusi will go into the tournament looking to help his Black Starlets side qualify for their first U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in 7-years having missed out on the tournament since 2017.

They will face Cote D’Ivoire in the opening Group A game on Wednesday, May 15 before taking on Benin in the other Group game on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
