Inter Allies Football Club wish to announce that it has withdrawn from representing the country in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup.
Eleven Is To One were losing finalists in the 2013/2014 MTN FA Cup to league champions Asante Kotoko and secure the ticket to play to in Africa for the first time.
“We carefully assessed our financial situation and thought it would be prudent to forfeit going to Africa. We have discussed with our stakeholders and this is the difficult decision,” CEO/Brands Manager Delali Senaye told www.interalliesfc.com
“We have asked the Ghana FA to look at the next club who merit the slot to be forwarded to CAF.
“We understand if our followers are disappointed but they shouldn’t be discouraged because better times are ahead of us.”
Inter Allies made a successful debut in the Ghana top-flight by finishing sixth and missing out on the FA Cup trophy by a whisker.
