New boy Isaac Twum has revealed his delight at scoring his first goal on his Premier League debut with the club on Sunday.
The Ghana U-20 midfielder’s low right-footed strike just before the break put Inter Allies 2-0 up and sent them on their way to taking all three points, edging Aduana Stars at the Tema Park.
“It was nice to see that one go in, it was an important strike and I’m very happy we played well,” he told www.interalliesfc.com
Twum was over the moon to open his Inter Allies account but insisted securing the victory was more important than netting his first goal for the club.
“The goal means a lot to me, but the main thing is that we got three points.”
“We are all happy because we won a difficult game against a well-organised opponent, who were always a threat.”
Twum joined the ‘Eleven Is To One’ from Heart of Lions after the end of last season.
