Victorien Adebayor bags brace for Niger

Victorien Adje Adebayor registered a brace for Niger’s national team in their 2-1 away victory over Swaziland in the 2019 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers on Sunday.

The team’s talisman helped his side rally from a goal down to record a famous win at the Mavuso Stadium in Manzini.

He had a huge influence on his team after his side were put to the sword in the 19th minute, Sifiso Nkambule broke the deadlock.

The attacker exhibited one of his finest performances and scored in the 55th minute to draw level.

Twenty minutes later, he added another beautiful goal to seal their first win in the qualifiers.

Niger have now moved from the bottom of the to third and will face Tunisia in the last group game.
