We have to work on goal scoring – Rashid Iddi
Inter Allies FC head coach Rashid Iddi has reiterated his team will have to improve in the final third as they are yet to record a win in three games so far in the NC Special Competition.
The youthful Allies team have recorded draws against Elmina Sharks and WAFA SC and lost narrowly to Liberty Professionals but the team has been guilty of squandering numerous goal scoring opportunities.
Coach Iddi pointed out his team has created enough goal scoring chances but will have to vary their tactical game to enable players convert some of the chances.
“We have created enough goal scoring chances and we need to work on tactics to enable the players score goals,” he said after the defeat on Sunday.
He also indicated that his young team is picking up valuable lessons with each game and that will require some level of patience.
He added: “Moreover, don’t forget these are young guys between 17 – 19 years-old so I should have patience and work on them”
Allies will return to the Tema Sports Stadium on Thursday against Dreams FC at 3:00pm.
